Ash Wednesday Liturgy Schedule

Ash Wednesday is on Wednesday, March 5, marking the beginning of the Lenten season in the Church. Here is our liturgy schedule for the day:

• 6:30 a.m. Liturgy of the Word with Distribution of Ashes
• 8 a.m. – Mass/Distribution of Ashes (all school Mass)
• Noon – Liturgy of the Word with Distribution of Ashes
• 7 p.m. – Mass/Distribution of Ashes

Adoration and Confession will begin at 6 p.m. as usual on Ash Wednesday.

Ash Wednesday is not a Holy Day of Obligation, but is strongly encouraged as it helps transition into the new liturgical season.
