Feed the Priests Ministry

Yes, it’s true: Even our priests get hungry. While they feed God’s sheep, let’s help feed them dinner!

Join our Feed the Priest Ministry to help provide Fr. Raines and Fr. Anthony with a home-cooked meal once a week. This simple and much-appreciated ministry is a great way to get you and your family involved at the parish and serve those who serve so many. To join the ministry, simply click the button below to view the sign-up sheet, select the best date for you, and drop off the meal before they leave the office that day.

Our priests will typically eat anything provided for them, but like the rest of us, they do have some preferences:

  • Fr. Raines does not like seafood. He is not a fan of vegetables either, but he will eat them in small amounts because he knows they are good for him!
  • Fr. Anthony requires low-gluten meal options. He prefers meals that include meat with a vegetable side dish. He avoids carbohydrates such as pasta, rice and potatoes.

When possible, please package the meals individually (our priests do not always eat together) in containers that do not need to be returned. The meals can be dropped off in the church office on Tuesdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Ott, Pastoral Associate, at kott@stmatthewtn.org. Thank you for serving our shepherds!
