Get ready for the biggest and best Parish Picnic yet! Many of our beloved parish ministries are once again teaming up with the Men’s Club to bring you an unforgettable afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship.
What’s New This Year?

Beat the Heat – Late July? You know it’s going to be hot. This year, we are utilizing the Parish Life Center (gym) for food and games. We’ll still have activities outside, but this should make a much more comfortable experience!

More family fun – Kids and families can take on our inflatable obstacle course, enjoy a round of mini golf, and explore even more games and activities throughout the day.
- Parish Gift – We love each and every family at the parish. We’ll have a special gift available for each family that pre-registers for the picnic.

Free Snow Cones – Just be sure to eat it before it melts.

Cornhole Tournaments Are Back!
This year, we’re hosting two cornhole tournaments:

One exclusively for students! All 2026 high school graduates and younger are invited to play in this tournament. You could be walking the halls of SMS as a champion when you return to school in the fall. Click HERE to register.

One open play tournament. Anyone can enter this tournament – college students, adults, Father Tran, parent and kid teams, even SMS students wanting to show their mad cornhole skills. Click HERE to register.
We heard your feedback, so this year, we are limiting each tournament to 16 teams and tweaking the rules so you’ll have more time to enjoy the rest of the picnic. The competition has sold out before, so don’t miss your chance to register! Winners will walk away with special prizes and ultimate bragging rights. Click here for the rules.

Foamboree Party and Dunk Tank – back by popular demand! Doctor Simpson and Father Tran are already committed to being back in the dunk tank, who else will you sink?

Bingo returns and this year it will be in the wonderfully climate-controlled Parish Life Center (gym). We’ll have even more prizes this year and are working on a special Bingo caller.
Feast on Famous BBQ & Sweet Treats
The Men’s Club is firing up the grill for their world-famous BBQ chicken with all the fixin’s. We invite all attendees to bring a dessert to share. If you’re making a homemade item, enter it into our dessert contest. Father Raines will once again lead the dessert judging team—don’t miss your chance to win a Publix gift card for the top treat! You can enter day-of, but keep your eyes out for a sign-up as the picnic gets closer.

Volunteer at the Picnic!
The picnic needs volunteers to run. Sign up with a ministry or individually to help run an event or help with setup, cleanup, or other needs.
A full list of roles will be shared as the picnic gets closer. Please reach out to Alex or Colleen if you are willing to be in charge of an event, or area.
