Saint Matthew Feast Day Celebrations

Sunday, September 21, 2025

Our parish feast day is a special time for us to come together as a community, honor our patron, and grow in faith and fellowship. For our parish, Saint Matthew’s feast day, September 21, is elevated to a solemnity, which is the highest ranking celebration in the Church. This year we are lucky to have the feast day fall on a Sunday, which will allow even more parishioners to celebrate together as a community. Additionally, Saint Matthew is covering the cost of the food so it is free for all to attend.

Former pastor Bishop Mark Beckman is returning as part of our Jubilee celebration for Saint Matthew School and will celebrate 8:30 a.m. Mass. The Men’s Schola providing music for the liturgy. It will be followed by a light breakfast reception in the Cohan-Hansom Building.

Following the 11 a.m. Mass, a free luncheon will be served in the Cohan-Hansom Building. Please RSVP for the luncheon to ensure enough food.

Additionally, Bishop Mark Spalding will preside at the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, September 20, as part of our ongoing Jubilee celebrations. There is no reception following this Mass.

Come celebrate our patronal feast day with prayer, fellowship, and a shared meal as one parish family!
