Children’s Nativity Pageant

Sunday, December 15 following 11 a.m. Mass

St. Gianna Circle Mothers Ministry invites all Saint Matthew children in grades K-6 to participate in the Children’s Nativity Pageant. This will be a retelling of the Christmas story made up of a cast entirely of children from our parish and school community. The pageant will take place on Sunday, December 15 following 11 a.m. Mass. A reception will follow in the Cohan-Hansom Building.

Several roles will be available in the pageant, including speaking roles (for children in grades 3-6; no memorization required), singing roles, standing-only roles, and greeters.

The first reading of the script will take place on Monday, November 13 at 4 p.m. (children interested in a speaking role must attend the first reading). Roles will be assigned after the first reading. We will have two more practices with the entire cast and one additional practice for the speaking roles only.

If your child is interested in participating in the Nativity Pageant, click the link below to complete the registration form. More information will be sent to families before the first reading.

Many adult volunteers are needed. We also welcome 7th and 8th grade students to volunteer as greeters and reception assistants for service hours.
