Information on our Homebound Ministry

Saint Matthew is pleased to offer a Homebound Ministry to serve our parishioners with long-term illnesses or disabilities who are not able to travel to or attend Mass at our church.

Our Homebound Ministers are Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who have been further trained and instituted to bring Holy Communion to the homebound in residential or healthcare facilities and individual homes. Through this outreach, we are able to connect those most in need with Christ at a time when they need Him most.

If you or someone you know is homebound and would like to have one of our Homebound Ministers make regular visits, please contact Kelly Ott, Pastoral Associate, by phone at (615) 550-5141 or by email at kott@stmatthewtn.org.

If you or someone you know has been in an accident, has had an emergency, or is in need of Anointing of the Sick or Last Rights, please contact Kelly Ott or the church office.
