Support the Good Shepherds of Bethlehem at our Masses this weekend!

We’re excited to welcome George Awwad from the Good Shepherds of Bethlehem to our Church this weekend!

The Good Shepherds of Bethlehem is a group that supports the Catholic community in the Holy Land. Since March 2020, the city of Bethlehem and the Nativity Church both have been closed due to COVID-19. This created huge problems for the local Christian families who depended greatly on tourism to sell their olivewood carvings, especially before the busy Easter season that typically draws thousands of visitors and worshipers to the city.

By supporting this ministry, we are helping our brothers and sisters in Bethlehem overcome some of the many obstacles they have endured to support their families.

George will be in the Cohan Hansom Building after all of our Masses this weekend to sell some of these beautiful religious olivewood carvings made by families in the Holy Land. The Good Shepherds will donate 10% of the proceeds from the sale back to our parish. Stop by after Mass this weekend to purchase some of these wonderful works of art for your loved ones!
