Well Played: A Songwriters’ Night

For the past 25+ years, Saint Matthew has ministered to the Haitian community of Gobert through a partnership with Our Lady of Miracles parish and sister chapels. These parishes serve approximately 25,000 people and are located in a northern, rural area of Haiti.<\/p>\n

Our continued support, alongside the leadership of Father Nicolas Flor\u00e9al, the parish’s pastor, and Dr. Librice, the doctor at the Gobert clinic, is helping the community meet its medical, physical, spiritual, and educational needs.<\/p>\n

Our largest annual appeal and fundraiser is Well Played: A Songwriters Night<\/em>, which is now in its 15th year. We are hoping to build on the success of last year\u2019s event, which was our largest event to date.<\/p>\n

\u00a0In the past 14 years, this event has raised over $275,000.<\/span> In recognition of our 15<\/b>th<\/b> year, we plan to focus on education this year and the church\u2019s need to finish their school expansion<\/b>. Premium sponsorships are available to help make that dream a reality. These include covering the cost to build a new classroom, install windows in the school, and installing doors at the school. We ask for your generous support as we continue to serve those most in need in our sister community.<\/span><\/p>\n
