We are excited to welcome our entire parish community back into the Church to celebrate the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord in the holiest week of the liturgical year.<\/p>\n<p>On March 17, Bishop Mark Spalding, the shepherd of the Diocese of Nashville, announced that the obligation to attend Sunday Mass would be restored as of Palm Sunday, March 28, taking one step closer to re-opening our doors fully after a year of hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>With the dispensation now lifted, we will be opening our doors to welcome our whole community back for our Holy Week liturgies. Here is our full schedule for Holy Week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday March 29:<br \/>\nDaily Mass &#8211; 8 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, March 30:<br \/>\nDaily Mass &#8211; 8 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday, March 31:<br \/>\nDaily Mass &#8211; 8 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Holy Thursday, April 1:<br \/>\nLiving Stations of the Cross &#8211; Livestream begins at 8:30 a.m.<br \/>\n<em>This event will only be livestreamed. No outside visitors will be allowed.<\/em><br \/>\nMass of the Lord&#8217;s Supper &#8211; 7 p.m.<br \/>\n<em>A procession will follow, with Eucharistic Adoration in the gym.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Good Friday, April 2:<br \/>\nStations of the Cross &#8211; 3 p.m. in the church<br \/>\nThe Passion of the Lord &#8211; 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Holy Saturday, April 3:<br \/>\nThe Vigil of Easter &#8211; 8 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Easter Sunday, April 4:<br \/>\nMasses: 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In his decree, Bishop Spalding indicated that \u201cthe law of the Church envisions situations where the obligation does not apply because of grave cause; any serious or ongoing risks and concerns you might have about the coronavirus can certainly constitute a grave cause.\u201d If you have serious concerns about coming to Mass in person, you would not be obligated to come until that concern has been removed.
