\"\"The death of a loved one can be a trying and stressful time. At the time of loss, it may be difficult to focus on planning the funeral for your departed loved one. However, the funeral can be a wonderful tribute to him or her, and it can be part of our memories which last forever. The funeral can also offer great comfort and solace to those who mourn.<\/p>\n

The community of Saint Matthew strives to offer support and aid to our parishioners during their time of loss and sorrow with a message of hope and consolation. We seek to walk with you through some of the hardest and saddest times and want to do what we can to make things a little easier on you along the way.<\/p>\n

There are three forms for the Funeral: a Funeral Mass in the presence of the body or cremated remains; a Funeral Service in the presence of the body or cremated remains (which consists of the Scripture Readings, Homily, Rite of Commendation); or a Memorial Mass without the body or cremated remains.<\/p>\n

Saint Matthew provides funerals as a ministry of our parish and therefore if you are a member of Saint Matthew, there is no charge.<\/p>\n
